The Bay’s Lil’ Debbie has released her newest project California Sweetheart Pt. 2 that includes 8 new tracks that are guaranteed to get you turned up. Following the release of her previous record California Sweetheart that dropped earlier this year in March, Lil’ Debbie gives us some new-new to end our summer properly.
California Sweetheart Pt. 2 is mixed by Benny Cassette and Rich Lee and engineered by Jeffery Hunt. Work The Middle serves as the single for this project with banging bass line and even racy music video that is bound to give an old man a heart attack or an extra glance or two. The album opener On Sight gives us that trap music sound that we wouldn’t expect from Lil’ Debbie as the opener but none the less it rides. Bay To LA is a shout out to where Debbie was born and raised and reminiscent of E-40’s early smashes that ruled the summers. And there’s Buss It another twerk anthem that is undeniable from Lil’ Debbie as her flows gracefully ride over the uptempo track.
Lil’ Debbie give us exactly what we’re looking for as the summer comes to an end; twerk anthems, ratchetness, and little trap music. Lil’ Debbie is currently on the California Sweetheart Tour, the last date is August 29th in Los Angeles. You can download California Sweetheart Pt.2 now on iTunes! We recently chatted with Lil’ Debbie in our exclusive interview that you can check out right here.
Heroin is Indie/R&B artist Asia Monique first official single from her upcoming EP Looking Glass EP. Produced by iProduceWndrs can be described as a gritty, hard-hitting record. But, what stands out from this track is the lyricism by Asia Monique. On the heavy synth ballad she sings, “Heroin, cocaine, your loves in my veins I’m addicted.” The song discusses the side effects of love whether they are good or bad. Similar to how the drug Heroin has an effect on the brain…The highest of highs and the lowest of lows. The EP will be released this Fall. Take a listen to Heroin below:Readmore
